Sunday School

At First Baptist Church, we believe that Sunday School is a vital part of our church fellowship and spiritual growth. Our Sunday School program offers a welcoming and nurturing environment where individuals of all ages can come together to learn, grow, and deepen their faith. We provide classes for children, students, and adults, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to connect with God's Word and each other in meaningful ways.

Our Sunday School Classes are spread across two buildings, the Children's Building and the Fellowship Hall. Each class begins at 9:15 AM and concludes before the beginning of our service at 10:30 AM. We would love for you to join us for one of our wonderful classes!

At First Baptist Church, we strive to provide a safe and clean environment where all babies can experience God's unconditional love. In our nursery, your little ones will be lovingly cared for by trustworthy caregivers and volunteers. They will hear prayers, songs, and scriptures, creating a nurturing atmosphere that introduces them to the wonderful love of God from an early age.

Our nursery is located on the second floor of the Children’s Building. We look forward to welcoming your precious children and ensuring they feel God's love in every moment they are with us.

We know that children of this age are very curious and eager learners. At First Baptist Church, we believe in providing them with an exciting and fun way of building a strong foundation in faith. Our goal is to help them become believers in God and equip them with the knowledge and love of God that will carry them throughout their lives.

In our Early Childhood class, we aim to grow children in their understanding of the Bible and foster a deep love for God. We also encourage them to become active participants in the life of our congregation. This group meets on the second floor of the Children’s Building. We look forward to nurturing your child's faith and watching them flourish within our church family.

Join us as we journey through the Bible in chronological order over a period of three years. Our engaging and interactive classes help children grasp the big picture of God's story. Each week, we explore a big picture question, memorize scripture verses, learn about missionaries, and play fun games. We offer two classes tailored to different age groups: one for grades 1-3 and another for grades 4-5. Both classes provide an exciting environment where children can deepen their understanding of the Bible and build lasting friendships.

We would love for more children to come and join in the fun. Our elementary classes meet upstairs in the Children’s Building. Come be a part of our adventure through the Bible!

Our Student Sunday School class is made up of students from 6th to 12th grade who are dedicated to learning God's Word and striving to live out Mark 12:30: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength." In our class, we explore the Bible together, discuss its relevance to our lives, and encourage one another to grow in our faith. We aim to create a supportive community where youth can deepen their relationship with God and each other.

Our class is located on the first floor of the Children’s Building, conveniently across from Graceful Grounds Cafe. It is designed to prepare students' hearts for the hearing of the Sunday sermon and integrates well with our Wednesday night student program. We invite all youth to join us as we learn, grow, and live out our faith together.

Our Young Adults Sunday School class seeks to help individuals grow in their walk with Christ while balancing school, parenthood, and the demands of everyday life. This class is primarily composed of individuals from graduation to their mid-30s, but anyone is welcome to attend. We offer a supportive environment where you can deepen your faith, share experiences, and build meaningful connections with others who are in similar life stages.

We meet on the first floor of the Children’s Building. Join us as we navigate life's challenges together and strengthen our relationship with God.

Our Adult Discipleship Sunday School class is dedicated to studying the Word of God in an in-depth manner for the purpose of life transformation. Composed primarily of individuals from their early 30s to mid-50s, this class welcomes all who seek to grow in their faith. Our class dives deeply into Scripture, fostering a deeper understanding and practical application of God’s Word. We aim to create a transformative experience that impacts every aspect of your life.

We meet on the first floor of the Children’s Building. Join us as we explore the Bible together and encourage one another in our spiritual journeys.

Welcome to the Happy Hearts class at First Baptist Church! This class is specially designed to provide a warm and inclusive environment for individuals with special needs. Our Happy Hearts class is dedicated to nurturing faith and fostering friendships. In Happy Hearts, we celebrate God’s love through engaging lessons and interactive activities tailored to meet the unique needs of each participant. We are committed to creating a joyful atmosphere where every heart can grow in faith and experience the joy of belonging to God’s family.

Join us upstairs in the Fellowship Hall as we journey together in faith, exploring God’s Word and discovering His love in a supportive community that embraces and celebrates each individual. Whether you’re new or returning, we look forward to sharing God’s love with you in Happy Hearts!

Welcome to the J.O.Y. (Jesus, Others, Yourself) Ladies' Class at First Baptist Church, where we celebrate faith, friendship, and the joy of serving God together! This class is specifically designed for our young at heart members aged 60 and above who are eager to grow in their relationship with Christ. Whether you're new to our church family or a longtime member, we invite you to join us for fellowship, learning, and laughter. Come experience the joy of community and the richness of God's Word with us in the J.O.Y. Ladies' Class.

Located on the second floor of the Fellowship Hall, finding us is easy: simply take the elevator, turn right, and go down the hall to the last classroom on the left. We look forward to welcoming you!

The Hope Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church is specifically for women who are over sixty and seeking to deepen their faith through studying the Bible verse by verse. Located in the Fellowship Hall, our class provides a welcoming environment where we explore God's Word using Lifeway quarterly material.

We meet in the first floor of the Fellowship Hall, where we gather to learn, discuss, and support one another on our faith journeys. Come join us and discover the hope that comes from studying God's Word in community with others who share your passion for learning and growing in faith.

Our Men's Senior Adults Bible Study is a dedicated group of male senior adults committed to the study of God’s Word in its entirety, without compromise. We seek His guidance and leadership in every aspect of our lives, recognizing the profound wisdom and truth found in Scripture. We provide a welcoming environment where senior men can deepen their understanding of God’s Word, share insights, and support one another in faith and fellowship.

Join us as upstairs in the Fellowship Hall as we journey through the Bible together, discovering God's wisdom and applying His truths to our lives as men in our community.
